Daily water regime report

Current situation and forecast for the next six days:

On the Hungarian section of the Danube decreasing water levels are observed to Budapest, and increasing below that. Middle range values are valid.

On the Hungarian section of the Tisza decreasing water levels are measured. On the free flowing sections (upstream of Záhony and from Kisköre to Csongrád) very low values are observed to Vásárosnamény, low values are measured at Záhony, while medium range values are valid elsewhere. On the section downstream of Záhony, water regime may be influenced by operation of hydropower plants.

Based on calculations for Hungarian stations included in the HHFS forecast system, exceedance of 1st flood alert levels are extedted on river Sajó, while 2nd flood alert levels is expected on river Hernád in the next six days.
