Daily water regime report

Current situation and forecast for the next six days:

On the Hungarian section of the Danube water levels are decreasing to Gönyü and increasing below that. Very low stages are measured between Dunaújváros and Dunaföldvár, and low values elsewhere.

On the Hungarian section of river Tisza decreasing water levels are measured. On the free flow sections very low values are valid to Vásárosnamény, low stages are measured at Záhony, while medium range water levels are observed elsewhere. On the section downstream of Záhony, water regime may be influenced by the operation of hydropower plants.

Based on calculations for Hungarian stations included in the HHFS forecast system, exceeding of flood alert levels is not expected in the next six days.
