Daily water regime report

Current situation and forecast for the next six days:

On the Hungarian section of the Danube water levels are increasing to Dunaújváros, and decreasing below that. Very low stages are measured between Nagymaros and Dunaföldvár, and low values are observed elsewhere.

On the Hungarian section of the Tisza water levels are increasing to Vásárosnamény, and decreasing downstream. On the free flow sections (upstream of Záhony and from Kisköre-alsó to Csongrád) very low values are measured to Vásárosnamény, low values downstream. On the section downstream of Záhony, water regime may be influenced by the operation of hydropower plants.

Based on calculations for Hungarian stations included in the HHFS forecast system, exceedance of flood alert levels is not expected in the next six days.
