Daily water regime report

Current situation and forecast for the next six days:

On the Hungarian section of the Danube increasing water levels are observed to Dombori, decreasing downstream. Very low stages are measured.

On the Hungarian section of the Tisza increasing water levels are observed to Záhony, and slightly changing stages are measured downstream. On the free flowing sections (upstream of Záhony and from Kisköre to Csongrád) very low water levels are measured to Tivadar, low levels are observed between Tivadar and Záhony, while medium range values are valid downstream of Kisköre. On the section downstream of Záhony, water regime may be influenced by operation of hydropower plants.

Based on calculations for Hungarian stations included in the HHFS forecast system exceedance of flood alert levels is not expected in the next six days.
