Daily water regime report

Current situation and forecast for the next six days:

On the Hungarian section of the Danube water levels are decreasing. Extremely low values are measured.

On the Hungarian section of river Tisza water levels are increasing to Tivadar and slightly changing or unchanging dowstream. On the free flowing sections (upstream of Záhony and from Kisköre to Csongrád) very low stages are measured. On the section downstream of Záhony, water regime may be influenced by operation of hydropower plants.

Based on calculations for Hungarian stations included in the HHFS forecast system exceedance of flood alert levels is not expected in the next six days. On the Danube downstream of Komárom and on river Tisza between Kisköre and Szolnok at several places water stages will be below the ever observed minima.
