About shallow section information

Shallow section information of the navigable rivers are provided by local water directorates to the Hungarian Hydrological Forecasting Service. HHFS collects all data for the Hungarian section of the Danube and Tisza rivers which are published every day after 9 A.M. according to regulations of the Danube Commision and National Transport Authority.

Please note that since the date of recording riverbed and signalling may have changed. Exact location of the fairway is shown by the buoys. Indicated sections and depths are referred to the ENR shown on each site plan. If the water level drops below LNWL starting point and endpoint of a shallow section may differ from the site plan.
